If you have a modern TV or Digital box then you probably rely on the Freeview service for your TV. This is the most common way of receiving digital TV as it is completely free, however it does require your rooftop aerial to be in good working order.

If your aerial system is not up to scratch then you will experience problems such as, breaking up pictures and sound, missing or intermittent channels, no signal or bad signal messages or possibly no reception at all.

There are two main factors that effect your reception, 1; your location and environmental issues, 2; the condition, quality and age of your aerial system and cabling.

Type 1 - Medium Gain Digital Compatible Aerial Installation
This is a medium powered aerial ideal for analogue and digital reception in good – medium signal areas. Supplied & fitted with new brackets, fixings, mast to 1 TV set. Extra TV points can easily be added with this installation.

Type 2 - High Gain Digital Compatible Aerial Installation
This is a high powered aerial ideal for analogue and digital reception in medium -weak signal areas. Supplied & fitted with new heavy duty brackets, fixings, mast to 1 TV set. Extra TV points can easily be added with this installation.

Type 3 - Ultra High Gain Digital Compatible Aerial Installation
This is one of the powerfull aerials made. ideal for analogue and digital reception in weak & fringe signal areas or where high levels of signal are needed i.e multi points. Supplied & fitted with new heavy duty brackets, fixings, mast to 1 TV set. Extra TV points can easily be added with this installation.

FM Radio Aerial Installations

FM aerials are still popular for lots of people. Lots of people still have FM radio tuners and still want high quality FM stereo radio reception.

When FM reception is good, the quality of listening really is good.

The fact that DAB is becoming much bigger, has not detracted from the fact that FM radio reception still has a lot of fans and a lot of people are still buying fm aerials.

What type of aerial is best?

Fm radio reception really does need a decent FM aerial to work at it's optimum level. If it is not quite working properly, the reception hisses or crackles and can be very irritating.

FM aerials come in many different shapes and sizes such as an omni fm. These can be used where the reception area is quite good.

A 3 bar FM aerial can be used for reception areas which are slightly worse than needed for an omni FM aerial.

From there FM aerials get bigger (and allow more signal gain to come through), which are mainly used for slightly worse FM reception areas.

There is nearly always a solution for poor FM reception, to help you achieve great quality FM radio reception.
